At Oberoi Realty, enriching communities is as integral to us as elevating
lifestyles. Fostering meaningful relationships with our local communities and supporting their
well-being is at the heart of our responsibility as a corporate citizen. Aligned with our
broader sustainability agenda, our CSR efforts reflect our deep commitment to social impact and
contributing to inclusive progress that benefits all stakeholders.
All our initiatives are guided by robust governance, executed through in-house teams and trusted
NGO partners or local bodies. With dedicated oversight and transparent implementation protocols,
we ensure every project is impactful, accountable, and aligned with community needs—delivering
measurable, long-term benefits.
Environmental sustainability efforts include the development of solid waste management projects, promotion of clean and renewable energy initiatives and conservation of natural resources. These also extend to preserving local flora and fauna and maintaining ecological balance through the creation of green belts, gardens etc.
Supported through various initiatives such as enabling access to social protection schemes for construction workers, encouraging skill development and focusing on their health and wellbeing. The efforts further extend to include promoting education by improving infrastructure in schools and advancing women empowerment, etc. within community programs, on a need basis in the vicinity of the areas near our operations.
Health & Wellbeing efforts include promoting healthcare by focusing on the nutritional needs of underserved populations. Broader healthcare and sanitation access is supported, along with the development of new facilities for promoting wellness and health of the community in general.

Addressing Social Protection Needs of Construction Workers
This initiative is targeted to raise awareness and provide hands-on support to ensure workers, particularly those in construction, are registered under social security programs such as the Building and Other Construction Workers (BoCW) scheme. By facilitating access to platforms like e-Shram, Ayushman Bharat, insurance cards, and ABHA cards, the project helps secure workers' rights to healthcare, insurance, and financial protection. It also focuses on strengthening capacities by training. Furthermore, awareness sessions are conducted at labour gathering points to improve outreach and help workers understand their rights and entitlements. Ultimately, the project builds a structured and replicable approach that can be expanded to other regions, making a lasting positive impact on workers' well-being.

Skill Development Initiative for Construction Workers
This initiative is targeted at addressing the gap in upskilling for construction workers, as a result of which they are trapped in irregular, low-paying work with little chance for career advancement. The absence of accessible training infrastructure, formal recognition of existing skills and employment guidance mechanisms further exacerbates the problem, undermining both worker welfare and industry growth. This engagement aims to upskill 15,000 experienced construction workers through on-the-job training, enhancing their employability and aligning their skills with industry standards over 3.25 years. The project is being implemented in Mumbai, Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nashik.

Horticulture & Biodiversity Initiatives
We have been involved in Horticulture and biodiversity activities for over a decade and undertake plantation activities
across locations in Mumbai City, in partnership with Municipal Corporation Greater Mumbai
(MCGM), Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and Thane Municipal Corporation
(TMC).
As part of the City Beautification Drive, a flagship CSR initiative in collaboration with the
respective Municipal Corporations and Tree Authority Departments, we are committed to enriching
the city's biodiversity and green cover. The initiative focuses on road median plantation drive
- converting underutilized medians into thriving green corridors that enhance the city's
aesthetic and ecological value. These not only beautify the roads but also contribute to
improved biodiversity, microclimatic balance, and ecological resilience.
Our initiative goes beyond plantation - it integrates sustainable landscaping practices, native
species selection, and a structured four-year maintenance program to ensure the long-term health
and sustainability of these green corridors. Collaborating with trusted partners, our landscape
and horticulture teams ensure meticulous implementation and upkeep.

Integrated Decentralized Solid Waste Management
Shahpur Nagar Panchayat, the largest taluka in Thane district, faced severe challenges in managing solid waste due to poor understanding of source segregation, lack of scientific waste processing, and absence of a composting facility. This led to widespread littering, creation of multiple dumping points, and accumulation of legacy waste, posing serious environmental, health, and aesthetic concerns. To address these issues, Shahpur Nagar Panchayat initiated the Integrated Decentralized Solid Waste Management (IDSWM) project across 17 wards, through the CSR initiative of Oberoi Realty Limited and is being implemented by Feedback Foundation Charitable Trust. Spread over 3 years the project aims to demonstrate zero waste to landfill at zero cost, with a targeted diversion of 4175 tons of waste from landfill sites.
